Spring Has Sprung and Gnosis Offers More Thanks

Hello Out There,

We just received word from the American Institute of Architects/Central Phoenix chapter that their board voted to underwrite $5,000 toward our latest project, the creation of a second edition of "Constructions: Buildings in Arizona by Alfred Newman Beadle."

Generous $5,000 contributions also have come in from Jones Studio and Corporate Interior Systems, and there aren't enough words of thanks and appreciation for these Gnosis ambassadors. Such sponsorships, in addition to the many personal donations that have been made, are a tribute to Al and the 40-year legacy he left in the Valley. The response to this project has been far reaching with monies coming in from across the country. For Suzanne, it has been a bit emotionally overwhelming, actually.

I know it sounds like we are "rolling in dough" but honestly, all the money we receive goes back into Gnosis projects and thankfully we endure. Please realize though, we are continuing to seek grants and other donations to support this project because we are still short of our budget.

On another happy note, the Gnosis documentary "Pedro E. Guerrero: Portrait of an Image Maker" was screened before a close-to-full house at the Phoenix Art Museum on behalf of the Contemporary Forum. More thanks here to them for the opportunity to showcase the work and heart of the amazing Pedro The Great.

Know Gnosis: Without you, there would be no Gnosis. Thank you, thank you for your support and good cheer. We'll keep you posted on upcoming plans for this small-but-mighty organization.

Jeri Robertson
